Razer Orbweaver keys

After a couple of years of abuse my Orbweaver is looking rather tired. Tried contacting Razer about replacement keycaps to be told they no longer stock them nor do they see any coming in the future. I have to say i'm a little disappointed as its not THAT old and wasn't really cheap to buy, but i guess that's how it goes. Does anybody know if a 3rd party sells compatible keys or am i looking at picking up another from ebay?

A bit of googling suggests keycaps aren't readily available as you have said, however there seems to be people modding the unit to accept Cherry key caps.

Link from a reddit that a bit of googling threw up, might be worth considering if you have no other options. (Razer orbweaver key mod are what tickles googles fancy).
