OK, had this mouse for a long time, but I like it, except for one thing. Sometimes when I switch my PC on, the mouse won't move at all, like it isn't plugged in, I take the USB cable out, put it back in and it's ok. This problem happened when I had it on my old pc as well.

This happens with both windows mouse drivers and the razer drivers that came with the cd.

Anyone else had similar issues?

All I know for sure is that mouse was based on the 1st edition Diamondback, and that did have several bugs. You might want to check for firmware updates to it, if it is possible to update it yourself on that particular mouse. I know you can on a lot of Razers.

I had a 1st edition Diamondback years ago when they launched, it stopped working properly after about 7 or 8 months. Although I tried it again about a year ago, after sitting in a box for years and it worked fine, I have since given it to my girlfriend, so far as I know it still works just fine. I do remember having one or two issues with it though, including one similar to what you are describing aswell. I don't remember there being a fix at the time though, hence I switched back to a Logitech MX518, that I had before the Diamondback, that thing still works now, I swear it's indestructable.

Can't see any firmware updates on the razer site. Oh well, I'll just have to get off my backside every once in a while. Or buy a new mouse....
