Recently sent my Mamba mouse in for RMA because the left mouse button was loose. Now that I've received a replacement, its even worse. The right mouse button is loose, the mouse wheel is so loose it rattles when I make movements with the mouse. Lastly, the rubber grip on the left side is loose and it makes a clicking noise when I grip it slightly.

So it cost me £10 to send it back the first time round and its going to cost me another £10 the second time. I'm not rich, £10 spare is hard for me to come by, especially just paying for postage because its located in GERMANY (use to be in UK).

So anyway, what do you guys think? Should I have to pay for postage to send it back to them again? If I should pay the £10 again, I will just do it. But If I shouldn't then I'll keep fighting. But spending £20 on something that cost me £90 isn't reasonable to me.

I would send it back to the retailer but I've already RMA'd to Razer and received a replacement! Which means it has nothing to do with the retailer right?

Any advice would be awesome.

Cheers.

Call/Email/whatever them and ask if they'll pay for postage since they've moved to germany. If not, send it back, get a refund and buy a different mouse.

I love my Razer Diamondback 3G. used to have the non 3G version before, and still using both, just in different places. I'm never buying a different make of mouse again. It seems the Mamba and Lachesis are having a bit of trouble.... I'd say stick to the older ones - tried and tested.

I'm not sure if they will refund me as I didn't buy from Razer directly. And now that I have a crappy replacement, The serial code doesn't match the retailer anymore. OR does that matter?

Yeh, I still have a beaten up Deathadder that still hasn't failed me.

Only cost me £2-3 to send mine back to germany, pull the label from underneath and cut the usb from the cable and send that, you dont need to send the whole mouse, just proof that you have one and its been destroyed.

Then give the old one to someone who can solder to fix a new usb to the end of it!

Thats if your mouse isn't a Mamba! They request you to NOT cut anything and sell the whole set back minus the package.

It cost me just under £10 give or take a few pennies to sent it back insured upto £100 recorded. I wouldn't sent it any less than recorded coz you need proof of reciept for records.
