Is there anyone interested in purchasing this keyboard? I think its due to be released at the end of the month. Was thinking about buying it due to my Saitek Eclipse packing up. Should look nice next to my copperhead too.

I like it, but it is very expensive for what it is.

It looks lovely, the key swapping thing is nice but I'd imagine anyone who was shelling out for this would be a pretty serious gamer and, well generally not have trouble remembering that g is nades, z is prone etc.
Those special keys are made even more redundant by the lack of backlighting, the keys suggest that the player cannot touch type or touch game meaning playing in the dark is impossible.
Buying an additional light to plug into the keyboard and light the keys is unnaceptable given the price IMO.

The macro keys are nice, but wait .. you can't remember which key is knife etc but you can remember what those 10 macro keys do? Contradiction in design I think.

Lastly the case material is shiny glossy Ipod screen material, which isn't good for anyone who's hands sweat.

For the money the Saitek Eclipse 2 does almost everything this does AND has backlighting (which even for a touch typist still means it looks cool!) the G15 costs less and has backlighting and a useful LCD screen.

I promise you the Razer has no better or worse key action than either of these two. I think the market for this keyboard is people who like how it looks or are easily sold on gimicky stick on keys, glowing logos and shiny plastic. Like me, lol.

If I didn't own and love the G15 I'd probably have one of these on the way :p

G15 is said to be better. I would have bought a G15 already if it wasn't so big (too wide to fit on my pull out desk). G15 has an LCD screen and more macro keys then the Razer.

Honestly, looking at Razer's products they overprice heavily and get away with it, most hardcore gamers when they see "gaming" keyboard or "gaming" mouse, they pick it up no matter the price.

Im using a standard mouse and keyboard. I've never bought any sort of gaming keyboard or mouse as of yet.

Razer's mice do look pretty cool, but that doesn't justify the price tag imo. £50 for a mouse and £90 for a keyboard clearly shows a rip off.

Copperhead has been out for well over a year, yet the price of it has never lowered always hovered at £50, same will no doubt go for the Tarantula. £90 for it rofl.

i would gladly pay £90 for a keyboard if its features justifyed it, the more i see of this keyboard and the more i read, the less im considering it... the docking bay is a neat idea, so is the camera, but for the price, backlighting should have been included...

I'm playing with a Razer mouse & would definately say it's worth the money. The response is superb. :) Not sure about £90 for a keyboard though!!

I myself am not into gaming that much at the moment at least. Might get into bf2 again soon. I think i will get it just to look nice on my desk lol.I did like the backlighting on the eclipse. But while playing games i dont really feel the need to look at the keyboard really & only a little for typing. So wouldnt find it that necessary.

I think that it would be a good keyboard, £90 is abit much have seen it cheaper around £75 i think.Although prices might not be confirmed.

The only thing which i can seen what would let it down would be the cold boot issues that the copperhead has.Wouldnt be too impressed by that. Although, the copperhead is the best mouse i have ever used and I hate using others pc's with a standard mouse.I like how fast my copperhead is.
