Razer Tiamat 7.1

All sites are saying Qtr4 2011 so any time from now until xmas but I cant find anything more than that.

On a side note, does anyone know what inputs it has? Optical and/or multiple 3.5mm's ?

Multiple 3.5mm which is what I was hoping for, at least this headset is true 7.1 and not software virtualised.
I really hope OCUK will have the headsets available from day 1.
 
Thinking about getting these when they are released. Would it be better to get a dedicated sound card (got around £50 budget for one) and use the 5 x 3.5mm jacks or would the sound quality and actual 7.1 surround sound work just as well with the usb soundcard they will provide with it?

Are these the cans with 7 tiny little speakers inside the headphones?

If so, not interested at all. Dolby Headphone is more than good enough, would rather stick to Stereo than tiny little speakers.

If not than ignore me :p
 
No such thing as "True" surround headphones. Dolby Headphone does just as good if not a better job with emulation on high end stereo cans.

Just another gimmick in my eyes.
