Razor Basilisk V3 sniper button?

Bought this mouse yesterday, love it, it replaces my death adder. however the reviews say it has a sniper button and I think I know what one that is, also do play ARMA 3 and a few other shooters and wonder how to enable it as such? what does it do .. zoom, telescopic sight, you would need to configure it that way somehow? correct?

It's just a dpi button to slow down how much your reticle moves relative to your hand movements

A lot of mice have a button for dpi changing, this is just a sales angle.

Thanks mate, thought this was the button behind scroll wheel though? This so called sniper button is on the side and down from usual back and forward web page buttons ... have not seen such an extra button on a mouse before.

Looks like all mouse buttons are programmable for profiles though, I'll figure it out, cheers
