just purchased a new PC and i thought I'd treat myself to a new keyboard too and retire my old g15, does anyone own one of these and could give me some quick feedback because its taken my fancy. Thanks :p

I got one of these a few months ago and it is brilliant. It is the first mechanical keyboard I have owned.

I have always liked Razer's keyboards and brought one of these to replace my aging Tarantula at work - have had it for 6 years.

So here are my pros and cons:

Pros:

Amazing quality and does exactly what it says on the tin. (It is certainly heavy and won't move about too much).
Has that satisfying clicky sound. Although it has a tendancy to annoy others in the office.
Headphone/mic socket/ USB port being on the side now makes it easier to work/ game with headphones in (Tarantula has these at the top)
Macro keys and the macro software is easy to use and configure (Don't use these too much)
Different light settings is a nice touch but would have loved different colours as well.
Has that cool and wow factor when people first see it.

Cons
Took a bit of time to retrain fingers due to them being used to the Tarantula's layout
Can be a bit sensitive when you accidently tap/brush a key while pressing another but I think that is a user error rather than the keyboard's fault.
As said although has the satisfying clicky noise if there are others in the room they may find it a bit off putting. (I think most of the office hate me at times)
Price compare to other mechanical keyboards is probably slightly higher to say a corsair or ducky but I think its worth it.

I would probably consider myself a bit of a razer fanboy when it comes to their keyboards I think they are the bees knees. If the noise will be an issue then I would suggest getting the stealth version as that has the slightly more quieter orange switches in it.

If there is anything else you need to know just ask.

(Hopefully that was quick enough for you)

yeah the reply was fast enough thanks, i bought one :D will have 2 copys of watchdogs now i need to find a home for
