Looking to get a new mousing for gaming. Should i get a copperhead now or wait n see what this new death adder is all about? http://www.razerzone.com/Products/Gaming-Mice/Razer-DeathAdder-Gaming-Mouse/
Though from looking at that it looks as though the copperhead has the better specs, 2000dpi compared to death adders 1800dpi and 7 buttoms compared to 5

Anyone know more about the death adder?

theres been an abundance of 'what mouse threads' the last few mths, there should be enough info in them to help you

yes but none of them mention the death adder n all tend be logitech v razor, i wanna know more about the death adder but i'll probly end up just getting the copperhead anyway

Ya im in the same boat, not sure what one to get because if I buy one what if I don't like it stuff like that.

I doubt that would be the case, but im unsure what one would be best. And the DeathAdder will no doubt be cheaper then the Copperhead thats the difference. Razer heavily overprice their stuff due to the "gaming" hardware, gamers are usually willing to fork out for the best of the best, so companies obviously take advantage of that and release stuff with "gaming" this and that in it, I mean Razer's keyboard is £90 rofl.

Oh yeah the DeathAdder is $60, which is around £30, but adding on taxes and what not of the UK, looking at around £40 so possibly £10 cheaper then the Copperhead. Another thing I noticed is that the prices never seem to come down on mice.

Another thing the Razer Tarantula is $100 on newegg, while anywhere in UK stores its £90. $100 is £51. £90 is $176. WTF!!!!!!!

Still on my trusty Diamondback :D I love that thing to death; you get so attuned to your favourite mouse. Gunslingers had their favourite six-shooters, gamers have their Razers. If I try to use other people's computers now I feel like I'm moving my cursor through treacle.

Except it isnt as easy as that. That isnt nessercarily cheap to americans it just seems so cheap to us with the pound/dollar rate being so good.

Hell Yeah! Diamondback has been good to me, love the shape, when the sad time comes for an upgrade, I'll def get a Razer model that's as similar to it as possible

I'm a lefty and use the Copperhead. Absolutely superb. I use the mouse in my left hand and this being ambidextrous is quality. Would definitely recommend. :)

got my deathadder now, -upgraded from the diamondback

its really nice, the whole top of the mouse has that dull rubber feel to it (different from the old boomslang buttons)

well happy with it :)

im thinking of upgrading my logitech mx510 to the razer copperhead with the razer exactmat. Would i notice a difference in my fps games and how does it feel to control one of these bad boys :)

Wow that looks really good, i was looking into buying a copperhead a few weeks ago but i think ill hold off untill there are sone reviews of this. Hopefully itll iron out the niggles that are present with the copperhead.

I'd be careful of the Copperhead - some people find that it tracks when lifted off the pad.. If, like me, you like low sensitivity then this can be a big problem gaming.

Having said that, i am a big fan of razer products - Deathadder looks like it'll be the one for me.
