to check my rbe settings for my bios before i flash, and maybe answer a couple of things im confused about.
ok here is the clock screen, card runs fine at 930/[email protected]. these settings will keep powerplay right? i do not want to lose powerplay
fan screen, my fan settings are probably stupid, its not actually my card its my bro's, so i havent had much time with it and cant remember how loud the fan gets at certain speeds. im after a balance of good cooling and quiet cooling. so if you just check out the other stuff on the screen to see if its ok
and finally the additional feature page which is what im confused on. basically am i right in saying that choosing either method1 or 2 hash will make my ccc overdrive show clock liimits i set and not the standard 775/whatever the mem is? i have not got anything loaded in there because im not sure where to find something compatible
also say like if i set them to show 1000/1300 will this disable powerplay? i definitely do not want that. why would i want to make overdrive show extended clock limits when i can just get the asus overclock program to sort the clocks? especially if making overdrive show the higher clocks disables powerplay aswell? but doesnt the clock screen ensure that im keeping powerplay? im confused.
im going to flash my reference sapphire 5850 i bought when they were going for £199(oct 2009) with a unlocked asus bios with a date of 25/09/2009.
thanks for any help
