woohoo the diffs didnt implode when i ran it earlier and no dog poopies this time 
this is deffo my favourite model at the moment, so fast on 2s and heavy but small enough to not be obnoxious running it in the street and more than capable of heavy bashing , i am truely in love with it
debating what to buy next time i get monies, the 40 quid treal or gpm threaded shocks look cool but the blue traxxas ones are 70 but look to be bigger bore..... not sure
gonna get some alloy blue tie rods and maybe some blue composite hub carriers etc

awesome looking little truck
during lockdown ect i heavy used my scx24 in the back garden that i burnt out a motor so i ordered 2 motors one is in it and the other a spare then the garden got paved over lol, also tried adding lights to it but they popped
looking at they vids of your scx30 it looks like the shocks are just right, while my scx24 they were way to soft so i used nitro fuel tubing to preload them a bit
peaked my interest might get one, what body shell did you go with?
i have the chevvy one on my 24

I went with the grey Bronco, since it was the only one in stock! I'd have preferred one of the Gladiator shells, but was feeling impatient.
Feels plausible that I could buy another in the future though

all the blue parts i ordered except for the shocks and wheelie bar wheels have arrived, so in a day or 2 i can get to work fitting them on the new shiney blue suspension arms that i have had kicking about

the long awaited wheelie bar wheels have arrived also have hardened steel drive shafts fitted as well now

dad got a mini kraton earlier, he has plenty heli 3s batteries that fit it and im highly tempted with the teal one that comes with a battery but costs a bit more, might see it running the morn and get a shot, looks a very nice piece of kit and the first armma car to enter this house hold

tried the xrt earlier with the new wheels etc on it, got 2 pairs of batteries through and wow i made it more mental, can now do standing back flips and wheelies in reverse lmao way too much grip for out side the house.
had a go of dads mini kraton and that is also a bit mental, i am deffo gonna be buying one of them

the mini kraton got ran earlier and had a wheely bar fitted, i think that is essential for it
for any one interested i cannot decide what one is better the mini xrt or the mini kraton, they both are different beasts but both mental, im just glad i have both

i need to start getting wall mounts and shelves for these rc cars i went and dusted the ones stored under my bed with henry and a brush attachment, oh god so much dust and cat hair lol
edit : next to the bed a fish tank stand :S
i think i have a issue and that fish tank stand is too crowded now, can any one reccomend how to put hooks on a plaster board wall properly so i can start hanging some of these on the wall and out the way? especially the 8 scales ones like the corally kronos, so heavy.

Me and my brother used to use Tamiya 1/10 cars and have both been wanting to get them out again, but all the batteries will be long dead by now and even at the time they'd last no time at all. Would a kit like this and a decent capacity lipo battery be a good way to get back into it?

Me and my brother used to use Tamiya 1/10 cars and have both been wanting to get them out again, but all the batteries will be long dead by now and even at the time they'd last no time at all. Would a kit like this and a decent capacity lipo battery be a good way to get back into it?

that has the choice to use older nimh batts and lipos, i use them on 2s lipos on a lot of my tamiya stuff like the lunch box and they work very well with brushed motors, the brushed motors are very cheap as well.
the tamiya stock silver can is around 27 turns, the higher the turns you go the higher the torque and less speed.

My brother has a TL-01 and I have a TB-01 and TB-02. I have just been looking now and it looks like they might be ancient relics now.
