Can you sound experts give me some advice please?
I have an XFi Music Extreme card and a Creative 4.1 set up at present.
I am now doing a fair bit of recording and play guitar through my PC via a LIne 6 Pod XT.
I need some better and bigger speakers that will handle guitars e.t.c. but my question is ...can I still get a surround system as I also use the PC for gaming and Movies? Or would I be better giving up the surround and going for a 2.1 set up?
I don't want a seperate amp or anything and just want to run them off my sound card.
My budget would be upto £300 as I have just spent over £500 on another guitar...the wife was not impressed!
