Videocardz leak.

If this is true, then this would confirm previous rumors that Navi 31 has a single GCD (Graphics Complex Die) and six MCDs. Ultimately this means that the card has a 384-bit memory bus and most likely a total of 192 MB of Infinity Cache or 384MB if AMD were to use V-Cache on top of each MCD as suggested by Kepler.

Choo choo.

V-Cache on the MCD would be an interesting idea. Instead of cutting down the top die, they can 3D stack them instead to make the top SKU. Potentially pretty modular. Chip packaging is going to be complex though.

Plus that tech is backwards compatible so even when it 'matters' it could only be like 1-5% difference in real world applications.

These will be very interesting. I like the 3060Ti so far but despite making the recommended tweaks I still think the colours look a bit washed out versus the AMD cards I've had. Anyone else think the same?
Assuming they're similarly configured their output should be identical otherwise they'd be useless for creative tasks.

If you're connecting via HDMI to a 1080p display, make sure your 'Output Dynamic Range' is set to 'Full' in the 'Change Resolution' part of the NVIDIA Control Panel (the driver may have mistakenly thought it was connected to a TV rather than a monitor).

Once control panels are setup correctly, noticed no difference. Iirc hardware unboxed, pcmonitors.info along with badass/tftcentral have also confirmed there is no difference.

Yep done all that. Still not convinced, really need a side by side to confirm. I'm using DP to 1440p.

You're not the first to make this observation, not by a long way. :)

Monitor related, perhaps? Maybe it doesn't quite work correctly with specific monitors, or maybe some monitor sub-setting. I'd be surprised if there is a difference for the reason @Aegis mentioned.

This might be different now but I think nvidia default settings don't have the monitor in full rgb where as amd do have the correct setting.

Here is the reddit thread where Tim from HU made comment on this:

Tim here from Hardware Unboxed.

Part of my monitor review workflow involves testing monitors on both Nvidia and AMD GPUs. Two separate test systems, both running default settings in their respective control panels.

Currently the Nvidia system has an RTX 3090 and the AMD system an RX 5700 XT

I've never spotted a difference between them in color reproduction. I've measured it using my tools in the desktop, web browsers, games. Taken side by side photos and captures. Never spotted any differences. They produce identical images.

Because this comes up every so often I did look into it to see if it was worth making a video on but the conclusion was there was no difference so it wasn't worth making a video. Since I can't reproduce it I have to assume it's some sort of configuration issue.

EDIT: Back in the day I used to see this occasionally when Nvidia would accidentally default to the wrong RGB range (limited instead of full) but in this particular case apparently that is not the problem so I don't really know how in this case the difference is happening. And those limited/full range issues were a while ago, would have to be several years now

And PCM2 did a post somewhere on the monitor sub forum stating the same and due to the confusion and lack of knowledge on how to correctly set up the control panels/monitors, he even did an article:

I'll have to take his word for it then, I think he's pretty thorough when it comes to monitors. It's definitely set to the full range and over DP.
Indeed, hard to argue with the likes of them when they have the proper tools to measure differences that even the eye can't detect :)

Yes.
I Increase digital vibrancy a touch in NCP as AMD's out the box setting is a bit sharper.
