RDP Windows 10 Pro on Mac Virtual Box to iPad

Really hoping someone can help, I am in a position where I will have to work at home over the next few days but the company I work for has software that requires Windows, I only have a Mac Mini connected to a TV. The TV is used by everyone in the house so don’t want to take this just so I can work.

My idea is to setup an install of Windows 10 in Virtual Box environment which I have done, then use Windows via the Microsoft RDP App on my iPad Pro, I just can’t get the Microsoft RDP app to find the Windows install can anyone help? All devices are on the same WiFi Network.

I have attached screenshots of all the relevant settings I have been playing with.

Any help, advice or suggestions would be amazing.

Sorry forgot to come back and say thank you, it worked amazing!

Next step is to get it to automatically boot in headless mode when I boot the Mac, then tweak Windows 10 and switch off as many effects and animations as possible to make it a little faster.

You could have installed windows 10 on the Mac mini and let it run natively.

Using Bootcamp I’m guessing? I have services running in the background on OS X so didn’t want to boot into windows instead.
