RDRam

Does anyone know anything about RDram? All i can find out is that it should be run in matched pairs. Is it old Ram/specialist? I ask because someone has a Dell PC that uses this and wants to add more but i've never heard of it before.

Cheers Gary, would a Dell system using this Ram be capable of using another kind like more conventional ddr in its place? I've found a few places still selling it but at prices around £60 per 256mb stick, would be a much cheaper option for him to use ddr if possible.
