Re-cased a friends Sandybridge system today from the old Advent case it originally came in.
Having some issues where after a reboot it now gives no display and will not post but instead just comes on for 10 seconds then reboots and sits idle until I power it off.
Have tried using both the onboard and 750Ti card they have, removed the RAM, all drives and reset the BIOS via jumper and removal of the battery. There should be enough power being fed to the system as they have a CX600M PSU to run it all.
Another one I had before running into the above is the system would come on and sit for 3-5 minutes on the splash screen before finally loading windows when the NV 750Ti was installed. on the iGFX it was instant windows load....odd!
Ordered a new H61 Asrock DGS board as I am thinking the worst..... Tbh the board is from a naff Advent PCW machine, so its a cheap as possible Foxconn piece of kit
