I'm currently in the process of re-establishing an internet connection to my house and have today managed to get my phone line reconnected with BT. They've quoted me an activation date of next Wednesday, however I was wondering in the mean time if it would be worth placing an order with an ISP now in order to save time. Would there be any complications with ordering now, before the line is reconnected?
I'm thinking of going with Be as i've only ever heard good things about them. I've used both BT and Virgin in the past and although they were for the most part very good I did have a lot of issues with connection throttling (especially Virgin) when downloading large files (MMO Patches and the like). Does anyone have any opinions on this? All i'm after really is a connection suitable for gaming, skyping and downloading.
For those wondering, i'm currently using my sisters Wireless dongle that shes getting rid off once the better service is installed
