So, I don't know if you guys remember the problem concerning the WiFi module when iOS 4.2 came out.
People started having problems using WiFi on their Iphones after updating their iOS to 4.2.
After a while all sort of "How to fix Iphone WiFi blahblah" guides came out, each one with a different approach to the problem.
So having an Iphone 3G 16gb (out of warranty) with no WiFi for like 3 months, I decided to take some action and followed the guide below:

I did this about 6 months ago and it worked.. for 6 months. Now it started acting weird again, till at some point after a reboot, it got greyed out again in the options and obviously stopped working ever since..
I just baked the logic board once more, it's cooling down as I'm writing this post.
The question is.. If it won't work this time, I was thinking of purchasing a new logic board of some site with replacement parts (found some at ~150 quid). I don't want to buy a used one off the bay, being afraid that it'll be broken or faulty, or never arrive even.
Is it worth buying one?
Is it worth buying a new 3G/3GS even?
I can't spend a lot on this, so I'm kind of looking for the cheapest working solution..
What are your thoughts on the subject?
