Hi guys,
Have a new computer coming next week, for which I'm going to use my current hard drives. I wanted to reinstall Windows but keep all the applications that I have installed. Is there a way to do this?

How many HDD's do you have? you could copy the setup files over to the other HDD, and then once windows is installed, re-install the programs off the second HDD.

Or when you install windows, you can choose not to format the HDD, which will make a folder called windows old, but i'm not sure you can run the programs off it.

It's not worth it IMO. You could probably stick the hard drive in the PC, install/reinstall drivers and re-create the boot sector/file to make it boot, but in the end it's more hassle than it's worth. Just write down everything you have installed and do a nice clean install.
