Re install of OS needed on mobo change?

Morning all.

Further to my post Here, Do I need to reinstall my OS (Win 7) after installing a new mobo,
or is it just a case of deleting/uninstalling the old gigabyte stuff then running the new setup disc for the new board?

I would do a clean install personally to avoid potential problems later on down the line.

Same, clean install to make sure there are no latent registry errors or problems that will lead to a re-install at a later date anyway.

You should always do a clean install after changing mobo (imo) since there could be incompataible drivers and such left that could cause you issues with the new build
