hey guys,

i think i might need a re-install of my windows 10, seems a bit buggy, what i would like to know, is if i re-install from my current SSD will i need ANOTHER windows key?

or is it ok as i am changing no parts? will it prompt me again for the activation key when i go to install the windows 10 software again?

You'll be fine, just skip the product key bit during install and once it's connected to the internet it will reactivate itself.

hey,

im having a strange problem, when i reboot i cannot get the BIOS screen, it just skips that and goes straight to the windows login screen?

is there any way to avoid this? i have but the fast start option in the BIOS, could that be the culprit? and how can i reset my mobo settings manually?

Hold shift and click restart in the start menu. It will say please wait and then click troubleshoot, advanced, then uefi options.

hey guys,

managed to get it, the problem now is its stating I have to activate windows? I thought with the same hardware it would not need to be done?

if someone can guide me how to do this would be great and appreciated.

OEM allows you to re-install, does it give you the option to call?

I had todo telephone activation in the past with Windows 7 & 8.

I think I made a mistake, its not a OEM, just a one off code, will be buying a OEM if I need to re-install again.

Really, don't do that.
Retail Windows 10 is about £5 more expensive and you can move it from computer to computer.
Really no point buying OEM these days.
