(Re)learning a Foreign Language

Hi

Have any of you studied a foreign language by yourself?

What sort of resources did you find useful?

I got an A in GCSE Spanish in school and also went on holiday to Spain for a few years around that time.

That was 11 years ago now and I'd like to get back in to it before I forget it all together.

I was thinking of buying the text books that I used in school as a starting point and looking for some audio tapes and then going from there.

Any thoughts?

Plenty of suggestions for resources that I had not heard of, so there is plenty for me to look in to there.

I've heard good things about Pimsleur from other people too, the problem is that they only have a level one course for Castilian Spanish so there is limited progression there. They don't intend to develop any higher levels which is surprising.
