Excuse the "whats the best driver" question.

Have been away from NVidia cards and evolution of the Forceware Drivers, so I'm kind of out of the loop. After the 9800 Pro I went with an X800XT PE and just bought one of the Gainward 7800 gs+ cards through OC UK.

Seems to have gotten across the pond OK.

After looking into the Forceware drivers it seems that the 85.96 series gets generally good reviews.

Any personal recomendations?

Just use the latest Forcewares to be honest, they'll be the best as they'll still be optimising/bug fixing for the 7XXX series

I would usually agree with you mate, but I just don't rate these latest 9x.xx drivers at all.

84.56 for me.

At the OP, just try the latest and if you have trouble then I would suggest the earlier revisions.

I as well just purchased such card, im using the latest drivers available being 91.31 and all is fine..........this card is awesome
