hi all 2 question firstly i currently have 2gb of geil cas4 pc6400 memory and am thinking of getting more, should i another 4gig of geil to make 6gb at 70 quid or should i get the ocuk pc6400 as it is only 70 quid for 8 gig, and would i a notice a difference with so much ram, i use the pc mainly for games one of which is supreme commander forged alliance and also do quite a bit of video encoding and photo editing, secondly i just ran teh hardware monitor util in task manager and played a game of supcom, when i exited form the game it said i had 66 hard faults/second, is that a problem should i be getting hard faults whatever they are, any help/suggestions would be appreciated. oh using the above on vista 64 with a q6600 and 4870 1gb.

Agreed - you'll be fine.
My old P35 ran 8gb with no issues so your P45 should be A-OK.

8gb, supreme commander will utilise it, as will the video encoding, if money's an issue, then stick with 4gb, there is't a huge differece, but it is noticable.

It won't because it's still a 32bit game.
ok, so it will use up 4gb, allowing you to actually have headroom in using the rest of the ram elsewhere =p
