Re-Open WoW Account

I played WoW for about six months after it first came out and eventually gave up due to lack of end game fun for casual players.

I fancy giving it another go now that burning crusade is coming out but don't really want to start a new character from fresh, does anyone know what the policy towards closed accounts is? i'd like to pick up my old character again and start playing the lvl 60-70 stuff but i have a sneaking feeling that blizzard nuke characters after accounts have been closed for 6 months.

Any clues?

sounds good to me, i'll give it a go and see what happens, see if i actually enjoy the game second time around

are all the old servers still active, i was on warsong and it was the biggest steaming pile of garbage, constant queues and stupidly overpopulated, they never used to allow character moves but i seem to remember reading they may have relaxed that rule.
