Re-overclocking an old Titan bundle

After installing a new graphics card, my overclock disappeared on my CPU, and I'd quite like it back ;)

It's a 4 year old Titan Viper bundle, with the very oldest i7 in, currently at 2.8. It came overclocked to 4! Can anyone recommend some settings to plug back into the bios?

CPUZ reports more exactly is an i7 930 bloomfield

Cheers!

If you pop into the BIOS Ocuk might of saved the overclock in one of the BIOS profiles.

Once in the BIOS main front screen, look towards the bottom of the screen and there should be a option to load CMOS from BIOS and hopefully this whould show the list of saved profiles which you can load.

With the new Graphics card, the old overclock is unstable, I get complete freezes with it on - any recommendations for diagnosing the issue?

I suspect the (650w) psu might not be able to handle it, as the new card is using 2 6 pins, the old one just one?

What is the current PSU make and model (also mention wattage) and your new GPU.

Does the system freeze in Windows with no stress or just when gaming?

650w Corsair PSU
R9 280 Graphics card, which should be okay with a 500w, but possibly not with the extra draw from the OC

I've had the lock up in windows after a reboot, the rest of the time gaming (but given I'm mostly gaming, might not be particularly indicative!). It's usually very quick c.10 min to lock up.

Without the OC, it's been fine under stress overnight.
