Hello,

A friend's PC just died and they only use it to browse the internet, so I offered to give them old s775 rig which has been gathering dust for the last 2 years. The only problem is that the case it is in is the size of a small family car and they need it to go in one of those silly cabinets people buy to hide the fact that they own a computer.

They need a case with dimensions equal to, or smaller than: 200mm(W) x 430mm(H) x 385mm(L).

What I need to put inside:
Motherboard: ATX (BFG Tech BFG680i)
PSU: Tagan TG700-u26 (150mm x 175mm x 88mm)
CPU cooler clearance: 140mm
GPU: Tiny (NVIDIA GT 430)
1 standard HHD
1 standard DVD drive

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Pickman

The only cases that come close are desktop variants such as the Fractal Node, that with ATX won't allow an optic bay. That is the smallest ATX I know of at 445 x 164 x 349 (WxHxD mm).

I doubt you will find any tower with that depth requirement.Evan a small MicroATX tower sits around 400mm deep.

If they really need a small unobtrusive PC, you will probably have to get a second hand 775 MicroATX mobo and small media type case.

I used to use a Silverstone GD02B with my 775 MicroATX gaming/HTPC builds. It sat under the TV next to the cable box.

If they had a PC before, what was it? What went wrong? Can that case and parts not be used?
