anyone know3 why Vista wont see my second Sata 11 drive bios seas it xp sees it but not vista I am running the Asus M2n32-sli deluxe mobo and have updated the bios to the latest and updated every thing I can but it still wont see it? any help would be great guys ta.

go to the asus site and look for a SATA driver for your motherboard, put it onto a USBkey or a cd or floppy and insert it during setup and browse to it (might need to extract it with winrar/winzip/7zip first)

Windows XP SP2 never asked for my SATA drivers during setup and I have an Asus mobo. Are you sure that Vista doesn't have SATA drivers built in?

If you have a modern bios upgrade it shouldn't matter if vista has the drivers or not as the motherboard would auto dect the drive

with that motherboard in particular? or just some motherboards do you mean

I'm quite interested in the solution to this issue as well. I have the same motherboard and am planning on upgrading to vista next week.

However, I'm almost sure I read on the ASUS forums that the RAID drivers for the M2N32 were included with vista. If not it could be a problem.
