Hi all.
I've recently acquired an Asus UL30A which is the one from O2 with the built in 3G WWAN.
Every program i have tried when connecting to the internet has come back saying 'modem not responding' or something very similar.
I've tried it with a vodafone sim card and it doesn't even come up saying the WWAN card is locked etc. I'm awaiting an O2 sim but surely it would at least come up saying something about being locked etc if it is rather than just not working?
Is there any way of checking the WWAN card actually works/switched on?
Trying to find any info on this has proven to be a right pain, any help really would be appreciated.
I have noticed that with no sim card in, it doesn't show up in device manager, but if i insert the sim card it appears under modems as 'Huawei mobile connect - 3G modem'
Please help a very frustrated user
