There are comfort options to prevent camera tilt during cutscenes which is one of the main causes of VR sickness.

The section at the beginning of RE7 with Mia being right in your face and throwing you around was particularly intense in VR.
 
I'm not that keen on 3rd person VR but it does add a huge amount of depth to the image, and allows you to look at the environments better. There have been a few good 3rd person VR games, Senuas Sacrifice for example.

I've found PS5 version of village to be awesome in first person, even with the immersive cutscenes. No issues with motion sickness, but for that third person view looks a bit intense.

That'll come in time. They did the same with RE2 which is third person only but works great in 1st Person VR. As with all of these mods, it's likely to be a bit janky around the edges, but thats what we have to put up with as it's unlikely we'll get an official port.

Which is so annoying, and Sony have the cheek to argue about exclusively! I was gutted RE7 was never received an official VR patch.
