Reactivating Kaspersky After Reinstalling Windows

Hi

I need to reinstall Win7 on a laptop that is running Kaspersky. The licence that was bought still has a long expiry date and is a 1 PC, 1 User licence.

How will I reactivate Kaspersky once I've reinstalled Win7? Is there anything I need to do before reinstalling Windows?

Surely you just enter the code that came with it?

In theory yes, but it's been a while since I've had to do this and I remember having problems in the past because the activation code had already been used.
