Reading Amiga Disks on a PC

I have several hundred amiga disks that I would like to convert to adf files so that an Amiga Emulator i am planning can use them.
I will be running these disk images on Amibian on a RPI3

Do I need any hardware (other than the USB 3.5" Floppy drive)
 
A standard PC floppy drive will not read Amiga format disks.

You would need a 3rd party Floppy drive controller (something like the discontinued Individual Computers Catweasel, or the "Supercard" http://www.cbmstuff.com/proddetail.php?prod=SCP)
