As the title suggests, is there a driver that allows reading and writing to a Mac OS HFS+ external drive in Windows? I have a PC and a Mac, and I really can't believe how incompatible the two are in this day and age. Both have the latest OS versions installed, and yet I cannot r/w NTFS drives in MacOS X, and HFS+ drives in Windows 7.

Uncle Google has been of no help, and from what I can see there's only MacDrive 9 and Paragon HFS+. Both a paid-for apps.

Is there any easy way to get around this? Surely someone has managed to extract the BootCamp drivers...?

Any suggestions are much appreciated

If its an external drive, format it to exFAT. Both Windows and OSX can read/write to this natively. Bit of a pain, but that's what I've done.
