Possibly moving to reading, what sort of areas are worth looking at(renting) anyone ever seen any of the live in workshop type places, or communal flats like that London thread in GD, max kind of £700 inc bills.

I think you will struggle living in the town centre for £700 inc bills. How close to the town do you need to be?

Reading has a lot of suburbs such as Tilehurst, Calcot, Coley, Whitley (steer clear). Also some nice-ish surrounding areas such as Earley, Woodley, Lower Early, Shinfield, Three Mile Cross, Spencers Wood.

doesn't really matter(techically within an hours drive, but more like 30inutes would be better), would rather be on the outskirts anyway, the kind of estates that back onto fields if possible, but still have reasonable busses in the centre.

see you listed tilehurst, a few nice house shares around there for 650ish.

shame i cant find any work live units, but they aren't popular yet very few about even in london.
