Not added a cooler in as it doesn't seem you'll need overclocking, though being a 'k' chip, its something that can be utilized if you need it, just by adding an aftermarket cooler.

The GPU is included to add CUDA support, this helps with 3D drawing/modelling and Video Editing too.. The GPU chosen is inline with your not end budget. If you want to cut it down, this card will be good aswell: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-019-KF .Obviously, the Gt640 will be a lot better.

EDIT: I know thats not the case you specced, but its a simular price and was used as a guideline. :)

Hi Doomedspeed--Thanks for helping.
The i5 has jumped in price in just 24hrs..by £9. Might drop back in a day or two.:) :)
Forgot about CUDA so will add the GPU..Thanks for that.
How many SATA Drives has the PSU..Need at least 8. 6 minimum.
I'll stick with the In-Win MaNa 137 as it has 2 plug n play front HDD I can pull out n put in at any time as I Save my Photography images to them constantly.
Don't need a DVD-RW Drive as I got 6 here to use. lol Thanks anyway.
I have a cooler in mind if I need it..Akasa Venom Voodoo.
I think I might get Free shipping with OC. Anyway £11.75 is nowt.
RAM--I want 16GB--So must I use 4 x 4GB or 2x 8GB ? I like the RAM you have mentioned.
Many Thanks.

M/B 20 + 4 pins x 1
CPU 4 + 4 pins x 1
PCI-e 6+2 pins x 3 / PCI-e 6 pins x 3
(One PCI-e 6+2 pins connector
extends to one PCI-e 6 pins connector)
SATA x 9 / Peripheral 4 pins x 4
Floppy 4 pins x 1

The PSU will be more than good enough. :)

For the RAM i have specced 4 X 4GB as it is cheaper. Unless you feel you'll need 32GB anytime soon 4 x 4GB will be fine.

The Venom Voodoo is a good cooler (and nice colours too) but its a bit pricey. If your not planning to reach mega high clocks this £25 cooler will be perfect: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-GD

Yeah CPU prices are moving a lot. I suspect they'll go on offer soon (at prices 2 weeks ago).

Hi Doomedspeed---Is the Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 700W better or same as the
Corsair TX 650w V2 PSU 80+ Bronze?
The one you mentioned is cheeper and has ALL the satas I'll ever need with spare.
When my friend mentioned the Cooler I said it was pricey but he said better safe than never. But that one you just refered me to looks good.
RAM, does things work better with 4 sticks or two?? on this mobo.
Sorry for all the questions, but I need this build to last a lot longer than the others I have done.
Many Thanks.

It's modular. And cheaper. I'd go with that one.

You can pick up 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile. I'd do that, then it leaves you with a potential 32GB, but you'll need Win 7 pro or ultimate to make use of the RAM.

The Voodoo is OK.

If you have loads of drives, check if the motherboard and case supports the number you want. Usually, it's 6. 2 x SATA3, 4 x SATA2, and an extra 2 x SATA3 with a marvell controller. But it can vary. Especially E-sata support if you want hot swap (like you seem to do).

Hi olivier--Cooler master it is then. That ones sorted.
2x4GB is what I was thinking in first place. Don't think I'll ever need 32GB though.
All my Drives are SATA II. Will SATA II work on a SATA III port ?
I thought E-sata was External, Plug the lead in. I need the plug n play (hot swap) in the Drive Bays so I can pull out or insert when needed. Can't think of the proper name for it. (hot swap I think) Like below my DVD-R drive are two plug n play HDD of 1GB each.
Thanks

2x8GB I should say not 4 as I need 16GB.
