The first trailer is up for the film adaptation of Ready Player One:

People generally either love the book or hate it. I really enjoyed it, but all the pop culture references were from my childhood, so for me a trip of pure nostalgia combined with a story about VR was a winning combo.

No, it's a normal movie based on the book by Ernest Cline. Back in the early Oculus days, it was said that Palmer Lucky got new employees to read the book, and they gave away signed copies to everyone who attended one of the Oculus Connect conferences as well (so it seems to have meant a lot to them back then).

I'd imagine there will be a movie tie-in experience though - out of any film, it would be weird if there wasn't.

and I am already bad enough at quest!! I die without anybody's help!! Going to be a tough week, was worth it though
