Hi all I did start a thread ages ago but wanted it all in one place again as I am ready to order and need advice fast as my daughters B day is very soon.

I have £90 MAX to spend on a tablet she will be using it for

Learning = mathes,letters etc etc

Games = Angry birds and mainly kiddy games

Youtube

Typing = She wants to write storys and what not

Now I keep looking at this one

But really want advice on what you lot think and if you have purchased one from OCUK please let me know what one and what ya think of it.

Well first day of my daughter using it (her birthday today) she loves it.

I have been having a few issues with it though I have just put it on charge and it wont all ways charge you have to remove plug and re insert it some times that starts it off some times it wont :(.

It all so seemes to stop charging randomly

The charge bar will freeze so you have to remove plug again and re insert it.

I think it may be a faulty unit but will test a few more times befor requesting an RMA.
 
I recently bought one of these b grade versions of your first choice and I'm very pleased with it. Does everything I need, iplayer, youtube, google play store, angry birds etc and at 50 quid for a 9" tablet what a steal.

I know it was a return but I haven't figured noticed a thing wrong with it, battery life could be better that's about it.

Well I am gutted :(

When does OCUK open again as I need to RMA this.
It wont charge proparly when I plug charger in I see bars moving acros the screen (when tablet is fully off).

Come back 1hr later press power button to check charge state and bars have stoped moving as though it has stoped charging even if it only show 25% charged so I have to remove charger replug it back in and then it might start charging again but will stop again any way :(.

I am gutted as me daughter only got it yesterday for her B day and she is gutted to.

I need to phone OCUK I suppose and explain.
My daughter said promis you will get me another one LOL but tbh I am going to save a little more and try and get a nexus 7 whice I should have done in the first place.

If a mod could please let me know if OCUK are open today I will ring them.

Cool OK OCUK must be open today got an RMA number.

Whats the best way to send the tablet back? I hope it dont cost to much to send back though as I still need to find moneys to put towards a nexus 7 instead.

Any ideas how much it may cost to send first class recorded if thats the best way to send it back?

Just to say thanks for the refund on this product you have made me happy and my daughter even more so as she loved the product it was just not charging right so instead we will be getting a nexus 7 with luck LOL.

So any way thanks again OCUK for the most amazing customer service ever.
