Readyboost makes my machine quieter.

Its great, I just bought another Gizmo 2gb overdrive to keep it always plugged in my comp. a lot less hard drive activity when it is in which is essential with a raptor ( noisy drive )

a lot quicker too.

Yeah it does seem to work well, not sure how long the flash drives will last will the constant access though.

cheap as chips nowadays so a year or 2 will be fine then just get another when there 20gig for £20.
