Lovely Wolver-ampton!
Can anyone suggest a 2gb USB key that will work with Readyboost?

I've just got a 2gb from ebay but it's not fast enough for RB (which I didn't realise, just assumed any large size key would work!)

Thanks

Got a PNY one from a local shop. 2gb. seems to do the trick and i can actually feel an improvement in speed. saved me upgrading my hard drives!

still, only a matter of time before the lot needs replacing. think i'll get a mac next time (runs and hides)

Just buy some ram is the bottom line. RAM costs nothing either really, sabe the £20 on a drive and put it towards real RAM in a few months... Readyboost isn't worth the time :p

That's a good answer, if you have spare slots. If you have a gig in each slot, and slow non SATA hard drives, it does appear to improve the overall speed of my system, with minimal outlay.
