Howzit guys.

I was wondering whether it's worth getting a Readyboost memory stick. I can get a 4GB one as well. Just is it worth it for it. Does it speed the system up that much?

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate on a C2D clocked to 2.8Ghz (E4400) and 2GB DDR 2 667 memory.

Would it help in games? or only for Windows?

Thanks all!! :D

Well, I switch my PC off every night. I've been using a friend's readyboost and every thing seems to load instantly. :)

Not too sure if it's worth 200 bucks though..

Well this 4GB drive is what I am using for RB it has sped the whole system up. Just not too sure if it's worth it lol.

Thanks for the all help guys!

This is wrong.

It helps when you have a slow drive speed, such as on a laptop. It is a disk cache, not a memory extender.

If you have a 7,200rpm hard drive, you won't notice anything.

Simply not true. Tried it on a PC with low memory and a 7,200RPM drive. The difference was amazing!::eek:
