[ignore just found a post here already]Readyboost. Does it work?

Someone has a older PC that ist too quick and could benefit from what readyboost claims to offer. Anyone had any experience with it?[/ignore just found a post here already]

Also...had a search for fast USB devices and cant really see anything. most online places dont even list the speed specs, anyones i should be aiming for?
USB3 is just too expensive so rule that out. Cheaper to buy a new PC :)

I've got a 2Gb SD Card in my wifes netbook runing W7 which has been maxxed with 2GB RAM and it's helped a reasonable amount.

I've got a 4GB SD card in my laptop and it helped when it had 1GB RAM, but since upgrading to 3GB it makes no difference at all. I just left it in there as I've no use for it otherwise :p

I read a few things that said it was only any good in with 512MB and even then it only made a very tiny difference, although this was in the days of Vista.
