hey all,
I have a readynas 2100 at work that connected to the domain.
I have a share on the nas that everybody can access. alls good.
my problem is that every now and again users call me saying that they get a error when trying to access any of the folder on the nas via the share name.
the error reads 'the network resource no longer exists or is not available. You may not have permissions to access this resource'
The thing is it's always different users that report this error and the only to fix it is to restart the users PC. A GPO script then re-maps the drive and all is good.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before??
I'm completely lost as to where to start as it can't be the network cable from the switch to the nas as other users have no problems at all and the backups work well (backup exec from another server).
It can't be permissions on the share as after a reboot it works ok.
It can't be that the users session has expired with their domain password as I've tried resetting passwords and no fix. - also a user changed their password yesterday, turned their laptop on today and 20 minutes ago it failed again.
Please help me!!
