ReadyNas Duo, not using second harddrive as mirror?

I'm looking at getting a Netgear ReadyNas solely to stream media to an Apple TV, laptops etc. Does anyone know if its possible to use both drives for storage instead of having the 2nd drive as a backup of the first?
I already have a Samsung 2TB F4 on the way and will pick up a 2nd drive at a later date.

Hi, you have to do a factory reset and then select Flex Raid following the below:

You could also delete automatically created single volume for both drives and create separate volumes for each disk to avoid loss of data on both hdds if one of them malfunctions.
