Having just looked at a Custom PC I am left wondering why my rig;

i7 4790k 4.8ghz
R9 290x 1050mhz
8gb Corsair
120gb ssd

Keeps getting But@ *&%$d by what are on paper inferior set ups on Real Bench!

Are the custom PC Benchie's different from Asus real bench?

Or is the Maximus Ranger VII mobo just pants??

What's going on??

seems about right for your OC, you need to whack up your gpu core clock to get better results with the open cl benchmark

To the last two posters ...
That's my point your scores are low compared with comparable spec'd machines that custom PC reviews.

Similar system to yours op, an extra 10k

I have no idea what your target result is, but I have tested my system at 4790k @4700 for comparison. (R9 290 1170/1600)

88883 with cpu at 4.7ghz, 87900 at 4.7ghz. But, the open gl score on the 4.8 run is a lot lower than on the 4.7 one. Cards were sli 780's.
