Real card game similar to Hearthstone?

Hey guys, my 6 year old has really got into playing Hearthstone with me and now has a keen interest in playing real cards that would be similar - cards that you play that battle each other.

I remember playing with 'top trumps' as a kid and a few other packs that I can't remember the name of. I'm not getting very far with google, can anyone recommend a card game that is along these lines?

Alright thanks guys, when I said similar to Hearthstone I meant that the cards 'fight' each other rather than say a card game like Uno

Yu-gi-oh looks good, I want to spend as little as possible on it to start with to make sure he wants to play it. Can anyone recommend a good starter deck? Where ideally I can just buy a pack that we can play to see if he likes it.

The Yugi and Kaiba reloaded decks should be fine, and should be fairly evenly matched too

I picked up the starter packs of Yu-Gi-Oh and he enjoys it but it is quite complicated for him to keep track of. I'll have a look at the other suggestions as well, thanks guys
