Hey All,
Was working on some kit today which involved moving some VMs around due to an old server being removed for power issues.
The server where the VMs resided had a pair of Xeon 5160 (2006) and the newer server a single E5506 (2009), while moving the VMs I decided to do a quick compare and noticed that there isn't much difference between the CPUs, in fact the older CPU had better single core performance score and higher L2 cache
The 5160`s are in a HP DL380 G5 while the single E5506 is a HP DL380 G7.
