Ive not been much of a gamer on pc as ive always played playstation, i went to a mates a while ago hes plaing call of duty on pc and i was amazed so he let me borrow a game, but it never really worked and crashed my system a few times so i gave up.
recently ive been playing the crysis demo with no probs so today went out and bought the full version.
WOW its amazing i thought the demo was good enough on graphics but the real deal is AMAZINGLY better.
all i need now is a new gfx card!!, i would love to see how this game is with full graphics.

you would need 3 nvidia 8800 ultras in sli to get over 50fps with AA on ultra high :P

so if you have about 5k to spend on that kind of system have fun :P

i run on xp pro 32 with a custom config with a custom config unlocking all the dx10 goodies and run at 1600x1200 with 2xaa and run an average of 55 fps lol

although the only time it really slows down to about 35 is when either im looking right out over the island or ice lvl (but even then its average of 45)

vista 64, running in DX10, custom config, HDR enabled, 2x edge AA, 16x anisotropic filters, 1280*1024, running smoothly with no stuttering on 8800GTS (G92)

very high or high settings?

it is possible yes to turn down 1 or 2 things and play on very high but generaly it looks nowhere near what very high should look like :P
even crytek have said its impossible to play crysis on very high with high fps on the current hardware, thats why it was built, to be a benchmark :D
