Real Life Popeye

Didn't even read the weight classes, my bad... He should still do it though.

like most sports, to be at the top level you need specific strength. something that most people will not have without training specifically for it. the triceps play a HUGE part in arm wrestling, as does your delts

arm wrestling is class though, check out some clips on youtube of people like micheal todd

Yep, that's what happens when you take steroids...
Also why would it be synthol related (ala greg) when he competes in a sport when strength is key?
Looks like some sort of localised acromegaly to me.

my thoughts on the synthol is not strength related, more the single point of mass which is more likely to come from injecting an oil instead of taking 'roids.

Is it just strength? Surely an arm that weighs several lbs more than normal would be an aid? Especially having seen the video of the kid competing. So much momentum involved.

You can also see from the pics and video that he lacks the muscle to support his arm functionally. His fingers also dont seem to function properly. Its very bizarre. I would love to see some photos of him when he was younger to see if this is a recent thing. I suspect it is or else we would have seen him earlier.

I'd easily beat him in an arm wrestle using left arms :p. Wouldn't want to touch the right arm though lol.

People go way over the top for competition. Reminds me of the 20yo lad with unbelievably massive legs.

EDIT: This isnt the guy i was talking about but...

My comment on steroids was sarcastic in case it doesn't read that way :p Forearm site injections are pretty rare as far as I know, and if you look his hand is massive too, which I have definitely never even heard of people doing. I can see how it just purely being bigger might have some momentum like you say and also scarring the other competitors maybe? But surely you wouldn't risk any site injection oil if you were actually any good and trying to make a career out of it. Definitely some genetic problem imo.
