Real Player Problems

Hi I am having problems opening Real Player on Vista Ultimate Operating System.
I get an error message 'This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem'

Well I have tried to re-installing and get the same error message once I re-boot and launch Real Player.
I have down load from the net the said file.
But what do I do with it ! ?
Do I need to copy to another folder ! ?

It'll be something like your System32 folder in Windows. So C:\Windows\System32. Or perhaps C:\Windows\System.

so C:\Windows \ system32
is this the same in vista this path ?
I was sure that vista did away with dll files ?

I've got load of dlls on my Vista x64 install. And I've just found MSVCR71.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

I have just copied MSVCR71.dll over to the sysWOW64 file and the Real Player still oes not work !
Just keeps coming up with the same error message, it can find the MSVCR71.dll file !

Have you restarted PC? Try copying it to system and system32.
