Real player to avi and software for burning dvd's

Is there any software out there for converting RM files.? And also I have been using nero 7 for burning dvd's (to play on standard dvd player) but I am not getting on with it, getting some dodgy results and it keeps aborting. Any freeware out there doing the same jobbie.

To watch avi files in a standard dvd player, you need to have a divx dvd player. If you don't, you can get an AVI to DVD converter, also from www.alloksoft.com

I'm sure there are free software out there that does this.
