Real Problem With 64 bit O/S

Hey guys,

so i ordered my computer parts and they came this morning, booted it all and its running well yay

the only problem i have is that i installed windows 32 bit by accident and now i can't get it to upgrade? i'm totally confused and really don't understand, any ideas? Thanks Guys.

You'll need to re-install from scratch I think. Did you buy it from OcUK? (Don't name competitors)

Yep, you cant upgrade. You'll need to boot from 64bit media and reinstall.

As the others have mentioned you will need to do fresh install.

I can conform this as I did the same with an OS refresh ... used the 32 bit by mistake so just re installed the 64 bit version and all was fine
